Nationwide Roofing Specialists is a trading name of Better Home Hub Ltd. The site publishes roofing advice and cost guides, and lets homeowners send an enquiry about roof repairs, new roofs, flat roofs, chimneys, guttering and roof cleaning.
When you send an enquiry, it goes to Better Home Hub, which looks for a roofing specialist who covers your area and passes your details on so they can contact you and quote. Specialists we introduce may pay Better Home Hub a fee. Using the site is free for homeowners and you are under no obligation to go ahead.
Better Home Hub also runs advice sites on other home-improvement topics, listed on our network page.
We are not a roofing company, a trade association or a government scheme. We do not employ roofers, have local offices or guarantee anyone's work. The specialist you choose is responsible for their quote, their work, their insurance and any guarantee they offer.
How an enquiry works

What needs doing, roughly how big the job is, and how to contact you.
2. We pass it on
Better Home Hub shares your enquiry with a roofing specialist who covers your area.
3. You decide
The specialist contacts you to discuss the work and quote. You choose whether to go ahead.
Checks worth making before you hire anyone
We cannot vouch for any roofer, so please make your own checks. These are the ones we suggest.
Get the quote in writing
It should list the work, materials, scaffolding, waste removal, timings and payment terms.
Ask to see their insurance
Public liability insurance protects you if something goes wrong on site. Employers must also hold employers' liability insurance.
Check any registration they mention
Look them up on the scheme's own register, for example the NFRC Competent Person Scheme or TrustMark.
Understand the guarantee
Ask what it covers, how long it lasts and whether it is insurance-backed if the firm stops trading.
