Who we are

Nationwide Roofing Specialists is run by Better Home Hub Ltd (company number 16605946), registered office Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE. Better Home Hub Ltd is the controller of the personal information described here. We are an introduction service: we do not carry out roofing work.

What we collect when you send an enquiry

The quote form asks for:

• the roofing work you need, roughly how big the job is and what your roof is made of
• your name, phone number and email address
• the first line of your address and your postcode
• anything else you choose to tell us in the optional notes box
• your tick confirming you agree to be contacted about the enquiry

We also record which page you sent the form from and, on a town or city page, the name of that town.

What we do with it

Your enquiry is sent to Better Home Hub. We use it to find a roofing specialist who covers your area and share your details with them so they can contact you about the work and give you a quote. Specialists we introduce may pay Better Home Hub a fee. We may also contact you about your enquiry, for example to confirm we have received it.

We rely on your consent to share your enquiry with a specialist, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. Once a specialist has your details, they are responsible for how they use them, so ask them about their own privacy policy. We do not sell your details for unrelated marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records only for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry, deal with any questions or complaints, and meet our legal and accounting obligations, and then delete them.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used, but only if you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner. If you reject them, or make no choice, they are not loaded. We store your choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again. You can change your mind at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, email hello@betterhomehub.co.uk or call 03330 907 934.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
